Senior Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Counsel in the United States for their Operations department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle forward-looking work within payments law, including prepaid product strategy and compliance with KYC / AML
• Manage day-to-day legal needs, including contract negotiations, data privacy agreements, and product-related questions
• Support and improve regulatory structure, customer agreements, and financial partnerships

Required Qualifications:

• Significant experience working with fintech companies, either in-house or through a law firm
• Expertise in BSA/AML/OFAC requirements and compliance
• Minimum of 8 years of legal experience at a top law firm or in-house legal team
• JD from a top law school
