Senior Counsel

Job Summary

Providing strategic legal counsel and ensuring compliance, the full-time Senior Counsel will manage legal issues related to business decisions, payment strategies, and digital innovations while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Consult on legal implications of business decisions and provide solutions for general legal issues
• Maintain knowledge of laws and regulations around payment services, cryptocurrencies, and digital finance
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for new business initiatives while collaborating with business and technology teams

Required qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active Bar membership
• Minimum of 5 years of legal experience
• Advanced English language proficiency (C1 or higher) for non-US candidates
• Knowledge of corporate law, financial services regulations, and GDPR
• Familiarity with decentralized finance (DeFi), cryptocurrency, and blockchain technology
