Senior Counsel

Job Summary

To support product, privacy, and regulatory initiatives, the full-time Senior Counsel will provide actionable legal advice to product, engineering, and marketing teams while navigating global regulations and advocating for user safety and free expression in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on the implementation of regulations and industry standards related to content safety, consumer protection, and data security
• Provide product counseling for a diverse range of web-related products, ensuring a customer-centric approach
• Track upcoming regulations and represent the company before regulators while developing policies for user safety and compliance

Required qualifications

• JD from a US accredited law school with 5+ years of relevant experience (or an EU-based attorney)
• Familiarity with industries and regulatory requirements relevant to web hosting, social media, and digital advertising
• Ability to work independently in an asynchronous environment and adapt to new areas like litigation or IP
• Comfort in navigating complex legal issues and providing recommendations with limited information
