Senior Counsel, Capital Markets

Job Summary

To support a growing Corporate Affairs function, the full-time Senior Counsel, Capital Markets will lead legal efforts in capital markets financing transactions, advise on bank partnerships, and manage deal execution while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Advise and support the capital markets team in developing diversified capitalization strategies and international expansion
• Independently lead financing transactions and bank partner initiatives, managing legal aspects from strategy to execution
• Draft, review, and negotiate capital markets deal documents, ensuring compliance with lending and securities laws

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant law-firm experience, with preference for in-house experience in a high-growth fintech environment
• JD degree from a well-regarded law school and membership in a US state bar
• Previous legal experience in structured and/or debt finance, including securitizations and asset-backed financing
• Outstanding integrity, work ethic, and business judgment
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a high-performing team
