Senior Counsel - Commercial
Job Summary
To support a growing legal team, the remote Senior Counsel - Commercial will provide strategic legal advice on complex US and global regulatory matters, focusing on compliance with healthcare laws and guiding commercial business teams.
Key responsibilities
- Provide solutions-oriented legal advice for promotional reviews and compliance with healthcare regulations
- Advise internal stakeholders on legal issues related to sales, marketing, and product development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance legal department operations and support business development activities
Required qualifications
- Law Degree from an ABA accredited school and licensed to practice in at least one U.S. State
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a law firm or legal department, with at least 2+ years in-house experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry
- Understanding of legal issues affecting the pharmaceutical industry, including regulatory processes and compliance standards
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to communicate complex legal issues clearly
- Experience supporting products in international markets is highly desirable
