Job Summary
Seeking a practical, business-minded attorney, the full-time Senior Counsel, Government Contracts will manage federal government contracting, draft and negotiate commercial agreements, and serve as a trusted advisor on compliance and regulatory matters in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Lead federal government contracting, serving as the legal subject matter expert for prime contracts, subcontracts, and compliance obligations
- Draft and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements with U.S. and international stakeholders
- Provide legal and compliance support for RFI/RFP responses and assist with employment matters and litigation as needed
Required qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
- Fifteen or more years of relevant legal experience, particularly in commercial contracting
- Strong knowledge of federal government contracting and compliance obligations
- Experience drafting and negotiating various agreements, including SaaS and healthcare provider services
- Ability to provide clear, practical legal guidance and navigate ambiguity effectively
