Job Summary
To support a growing digital health company, the full-time Senior Counsel Healthcare Regulatory will advise on healthcare regulatory matters, privacy laws, and employment issues while working remotely across various clinical and operational functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on federal and state healthcare regulatory matters affecting virtual care operations and clinician activities
- Provide guidance on HIPAA and other privacy laws, including reviewing and negotiating relevant agreements
- Partner with business leaders on employment agreements and workplace policies, ensuring compliance with multistate workforce requirements
Required Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing in at least one U.S. state bar (California preferred)
- 8+ years of legal experience with substantive healthcare regulatory and privacy expertise
- Experience working in-house at a digital health or healthcare company or at a major law firm
- Demonstrated experience supporting multistate or remote clinical/employee workforces
- Proficiency in using artificial intelligence tools to enhance efficiency and work quality
