Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Counsel, Legal & Compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the illicit finance and sanctions compliance program, including wallet screening and enforcement of controls
• Oversee privacy and data regulatory compliance, supporting product teams with risk analysis
• Contribute to the legal function by tracking regulatory developments and supporting contract negotiations

Required Qualifications

• JD and 5-7+ years of experience in sanctions/OFAC compliance, AML, or financial crimes
• Working knowledge of privacy laws and regulatory frameworks, including GDPR and CCPA/CPRA
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, crypto, and digital asset markets
• Experience making disposition calls and working cross-functionally with various teams
• Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment
