Senior Counsel, Licensed Attorney

Job Summary

Serving as a key legal partner, the full-time Senior Counsel, Licensed Attorney will advise on product development and negotiate commercial agreements within a remote work environment, focusing on legal considerations related to AI/ML features and regulatory compliance in the digital health sector.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements, including those with health plans and vendors
• Advise product and engineering teams on legal considerations related to mobile applications and FDA-cleared devices
• Support the Compliance function by monitoring developments in digital health law and regulation

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of legal experience, with a focus on transactional and product counseling
• Experience advising on regulatory risks related to data privacy, AI/ML, and FDA-regulated products
• Proven track record of drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements
• Familiarity with key regulatory frameworks in digital health, including HIPAA and FDA
• JD from an accredited U.S. law school; licensed and in good standing with a state bar
