Senior Counsel - Litigation

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Counsel - Litigation to oversee and manage litigation related to GSE loans.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage litigation related to GSE loans, coordinating with outside counsel
• Advise senior executives on litigation strategies and manage consumer finance litigation
• Supervise junior attorneys and paralegals, and lead negotiations on subservicing agreements

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an ABA accredited law school and state bar admission required
• 7+ years of experience in consumer/mortgage loan servicing litigation defense management
• Knowledge of mortgage origination, closing, servicing practices, and loan documents
• Experience overseeing complex litigation and responding to discovery requests
• Substantial experience delivering presentations to clients and executive management
