Senior Counsel - Patent Chemistry

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Counsel in Patent Medicinal/Pharmaceutical Chemistry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working with scientists to identify patentable subject matter
• Drafting, filing, and prosecuting patent applications worldwide
• Providing legal advice and counsel on various IP related matters

Required Qualifications:

• J.D. or LL.M. degree from an accredited law school, admission to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction
• Four plus years of experience practicing intellectual property law
• Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
• Ten or more years of experience in patent or intellectual property law preferred
• Advanced degree such as a master's or Ph.D. in organic or medicinal chemistry
