Job Summary
To support regulatory compliance and litigation efforts, the remote Senior Counsel - Regulatory Compliance will manage multi-state regulatory obligations, oversee legislative affairs, and handle a portfolio of claims while leveraging AI tools for efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Own multi-state regulatory compliance obligations and manage regulatory filings and agency relationships
- Monitor and analyze federal and state legislation, developing legal positions and collaborating on policy strategies
- Oversee a portfolio of claims related to civil litigation, including managing discovery and supporting outside counsel
Required qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and an active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
- 8+ years of legal experience with a focus on regulatory affairs and exposure to litigation or claims management
- Demonstrated ability to work with AI tools in a legal context for tasks such as contract analysis and regulatory analysis
- Experience navigating state regulatory agencies and legislative processes
- Proven ability to advise cross-functional teams on legislative and regulatory requirements
