Job Summary
Managing complex securities class actions and shareholder derivative suits, the full-time Senior Counsel, Shareholder Litigation will serve as the primary in-house contact for litigation strategy and risk management while working remotely with occasional in-person collaboration.
Key responsibilities
- Own the management of securities class actions, including pleadings strategy, discovery, and settlement negotiations
- Lead the defense of shareholder derivative litigation and manage pre-suit demand letters
- Collaborate with corporate legal teams on public company filings and monitor developments in corporate law
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of litigation experience in securities class actions or shareholder derivative litigation
- Deep familiarity with corporate law and fiduciary duty standards
- Experience litigating in Delaware Chancery Court
- Proven track record managing outside counsel and high-stakes litigation
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active membership in a US state bar
