Senior Counsel, State Licensed

Job Summary

To support a growing legal team, the full-time Senior Counsel, State Licensed will manage a variety of legal matters related to AI products, privacy, and commercial transactions while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Counsel product, sales, and engineering teams on consumer protection, advertising, and regulatory compliance
• Support strategic legal initiatives, including litigation and intellectual property matters, while taking ownership of legal issues from intake to resolution
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, and lead legal reviews of marketing materials and go-to-market initiatives

Required qualifications

• 5-7+ years of relevant experience in a technology company or law firm, focusing on technology transactions, product, IP, or privacy
• JD and admission to a state bar
• Strong understanding of AI-enabled products and emerging technologies
• Experience advising cross-functional teams on regulatory matters
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
