Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Counsel, Trademark & Copyright.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the global trademark portfolio, including clearance, prosecution, enforcement, and maintenance
• Provide legal advice on trademark and copyright matters to cross-functional teams
• Oversee online enforcement against unauthorized use of trademarks and manage domain name strategy

Required Qualifications

• J.D. or LL.M. degree from an accredited law school and admission to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction
• Four plus (4+) years of experience in trademark and copyright law
• Ten (10) or more years of experience preferred, particularly in biotechnology
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a scientific field such as chemistry or genetics
• Experience in copyright law, including licensing and AI-generated content issues
