Senior Counsel, Transactions

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Counsel, Transactions to advise on corporate transactions and legal matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate complex transaction agreements, including mergers, acquisitions, and licenses
• Provide legal advice on pharmaceutical licensing, M&A transactions, and compliance with corporate policies
• Engage in due diligence and manage outside counsel for strategic legal projects

Required Qualifications

• Must possess a J.D. degree and meet state licensing requirements within two years
• 8+ years of relevant transactional and/or industry experience
• Strong negotiating skills and ability to manage complex transactions independently
• Experience in advising on complex contractual relationships in the pharmaceutical sector
• Ability to analyze legal issues and communicate advice effectively to clients
