Senior Credit Analyst

Job Summary

To strengthen the communities served, the full-time Senior Credit Analyst will provide high-quality underwriting and independent credit analysis for complex Commercial & Industrial (C&I) and Commercial Real Estate (CRE) relationships, while also serving as a technical resource to other analysts.

Key responsibilities

• Independently underwrite new, renewal, modification, and annual-review requests involving C&I and CRE relationships
• Analyze borrower financial conditions, historical performance, and repayment sources to prepare clear credit presentations
• Support community-development finance by analyzing affordable housing and related transactions when assigned

Required qualifications

• Approximately 5 or more years of commercial credit analysis, underwriting, or related commercial banking experience
• Demonstrated underwriting experience with both C&I and Commercial Real Estate transactions
• Strong knowledge of commercial financial statements, cash flow analysis, and guarantor analysis
• Ability to independently underwrite complex transactions and identify material credit issues
• A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related field is preferred
