Senior Credit Risk Analyst

Job Summary

Owning complex investigations, the full-time Senior Credit Risk Analyst will work remotely to analyze merchant accounts, make mitigation decisions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance risk management tools and policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and investigate complex merchant accounts to make appropriate mitigation decisions
• Own escalated investigations for high-value merchants and communicate directly with them to address concerns
• Monitor portfolio trends and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data to improve risk detection and policies

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in risk analysis or underwriting within digital payments, e-commerce, or marketplace environments
• Deep knowledge of merchant credit risk and the ability to assess complex risk scenarios
• Experience with high-risk business models such as pre-sales, dropshipping, or subscriptions
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tools for data analysis
• Collaborative approach to developing risk policies and mitigation strategies at scale
