Senior Credit Risk Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Manager, Credit Risk.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, update, and maintain underwriting guidelines and credit policy
• Serve as the primary point of contact for credit-related questions and provide clear interpretations of underwriting standards
• Review defaulted loans and perform root cause analysis to identify trends and recommend policy improvements

Required Qualifications

• 8 to 12+ years of experience in credit risk, underwriting, or credit policy within a lending or financial services environment
• Experience working with multiple investor guidelines and overlays
• Demonstrated ability to write, interpret, and operationalize credit policy
• Strong credit judgment with the ability to make decisions under ambiguity
• Experience building or improving underwriting governance frameworks
