Senior Credit Underwriting Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of analysts, the full-time Senior Credit Underwriting Manager will oversee condominium and cooperative project reviews to support U.S. Residential Real Estate Mortgage Operations, ensuring compliance with lending guidelines while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage a team to conduct condominium and cooperative reviews for various mortgage channels, providing guidance and support
• Ensure adherence to Citi, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac lending guidelines while monitoring production and addressing pipeline management issues
• Act as a subject matter expert for condominium and cooperative inquiries, collaborating with multiple teams and conducting audits to maintain compliance

Required qualifications:

• 6-10 years of experience in residential real estate mortgage operations with expertise in condo/co-op review and analysis
• Extensive knowledge of Retail Mortgage, Credit Policy, and Underwriting
• Strong understanding of Regulatory Guidelines and Quality Expectations
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Master's degree preferred
• Proven organizational and time management skills
