Senior Cryptographic Security Advisor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Cryptographic Security Advisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate cryptographic algorithms, protocols, and architectures for compliance with federal standards
• Advise leadership on cryptographic security standards and support secure systems architecture development
• Monitor advancements in cryptographic technologies and contribute to research and policy documentation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Cryptography, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's or Ph.D. preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of applied experience in cryptography or 3 years in a role requiring applied mathematics
• Must currently hold a Secret clearance or be eligible for one
• Must undergo a Tier 3 Background Investigation for National Security Determination
• Preferred certifications include CISSP with a focus in Cryptography or GIAC certifications
