Senior Customer Application Engineer

Job Summary

Serving as the technical lead for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) proposals, the full-time Senior Customer Application Engineer will work remotely to develop optimized technical solutions, align with product development teams, and support sales efforts through technical presentations and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the technical development of BESS proposals and ensure alignment with customer specifications
• Facilitate grid system simulation studies and maintain technical commercial documentation
• Support sales by delivering technical presentations and providing mentorship to team members

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a technical role involving Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) or utility-scale solar inverters
• Demonstrated experience with battery and inverter systems for the power industry
• Ability to work effectively as part of a global team
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly
