Job Summary
Leading the organization's cyber defense capability, the full-time Senior Cyber Defense Manager will be responsible for identifying, containing, and recovering from cyber threats while overseeing the enterprise cyber defense strategy, incident response, and vulnerability remediation efforts in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own and mature the enterprise cyber defense strategy, including detection, threat management, and incident response
- Operationalize threat intelligence into detection use cases and lead the Incident Response capability
- Govern Vulnerability Remediation and Patch Management through SLA accountability and risk-based prioritization
Required qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in cybersecurity with 5+ years in leading SOC or cyber defense operations at an enterprise scale
- CISSP or CISM certification required; GCIA, GCIH, or GCFE is highly preferred
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex threat scenarios to executive and board audiences
- Proven leadership in building and scaling high-performing SOC teams
- Deep understanding of frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK and risk-based prioritization methodologies
