Job Summary

Leading the organization's cyber defense capability, the full-time Senior Cyber Defense Manager will be responsible for identifying, containing, and recovering from cyber threats while overseeing the enterprise cyber defense strategy, incident response, and vulnerability remediation efforts in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Own and mature the enterprise cyber defense strategy, including detection, threat management, and incident response
  • Operationalize threat intelligence into detection use cases and lead the Incident Response capability
  • Govern Vulnerability Remediation and Patch Management through SLA accountability and risk-based prioritization
Required qualifications
  • 12+ years of experience in cybersecurity with 5+ years in leading SOC or cyber defense operations at an enterprise scale
  • CISSP or CISM certification required; GCIA, GCIH, or GCFE is highly preferred
  • Exceptional ability to communicate complex threat scenarios to executive and board audiences
  • Proven leadership in building and scaling high-performing SOC teams
  • Deep understanding of frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK and risk-based prioritization methodologies
