Senior Cyber Hygiene Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance the organization's security posture, the remote contract Senior Cyber Hygiene Automation Engineer will drive automation across cyber hygiene monitoring processes, focusing on developing automated scripts, integrating security tools, and implementing AI/ML techniques for improved detection and response capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated scripts and playbooks for monitoring cyber hygiene metrics
• Research and implement AI/ML models to enhance cyber hygiene monitoring and anomaly detection
• Oversee the operation of cyber hygiene monitoring systems and provide subject matter expertise on security controls

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of experience in Information Security, focusing on Security Operations or Security Engineering
• Strong programming/scripting skills in languages such as Python or PowerShell
• Experience integrating security tools via APIs and working with public cloud platforms
• Solid understanding of cyber hygiene domains like Vulnerability Management and Configuration Management
