Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Senior Cyber Security Analyst will design strategies and assessments focused on Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) to safeguard sensitive veteran data against cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead incident response efforts by coordinating containment, eradication, and recovery activities during security incidents
- Conduct security architecture reviews to enhance system designs and align with Zero Trust principles and DLP best practices
- Develop and maintain automated workflows for log analysis, alert triage, and compliance reporting
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity operations, preferably within a federal or VA environment
- Hands-on experience with DLP tools and ZTA frameworks
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, JavaScript, and PowerShell
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Information Technology
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Tier 5 background investigation as a U.S. citizen
