Senior Cyber Security Associate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Cyber Security Associate to support the Department of Veterans Affairs GIS Team in a fully remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide consultative support on system security assessment and authorization for the VA
• Lead security and privacy activities within project teams and develop related artifacts
• Conduct cyber security risk analysis, vulnerability assessments, and compliance assessments

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or a related field
• 8 years of relevant experience, with 4 years of additional experience substitutable for education
• CISSP or equivalent IT security certification
• Extensive IT experience with Cyber Security Policy and threat mitigation
• Expertise in Cyber Security Tools, network topologies, and secured networks
