Senior Cyber Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to enhance detection, response, and automation capabilities in a modern enterprise security environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Cortex XSIAM detections and analytics across various data sources
• Develop custom detections and conduct proactive threat hunting using XSIAM analytics
• Design automated response playbooks and collaborate with SOC analysts on incident response activities

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Security Operations, Detection Engineering, or SIEM/SOAR engineering
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks Cortex XSIAM or strong XDR/XSOAR experience
• Strong knowledge of SIEM/XDR concepts, log analytics, and incident response workflows
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information assurance, MIS, or equivalent experience
• Palo Alto Networks Certified XSIAM Engineer or Analyst certification preferred
