Senior Cyber Security Engineer

Job Summary

Operating remotely as a full-time Senior Cyber Security Engineer, the successful candidate will manage security integration into solution design and deployment, assess risks in real-world implementations, and collaborate with engineering and business teams to ensure secure technology outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain system security needs for operations development and risk assessment
• Collaborate with technical teams and cloud service providers to ensure compliance with security best practices
• Implement and manage cloud security solutions while conducting assessments to identify and mitigate risks

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience (4 years in a corporate environment)
• 5 years of experience as an information security engineer or in a related field
• Comprehensive knowledge of cloud security technologies and frameworks
• Experience with SSO and step-up authentication for authorization
• Certifications such as CCSP, AWS Certified Security, or CISSP are preferred
