Senior Cyber Security Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time remote Senior Cyber Security Engineer, the successful candidate will manage vulnerability assessments, provide security guidance for applications and microservices, and enhance application security automation within CI/CD pipelines.
Key responsibilities
- Support vulnerability management for applications and microservices
- Evaluate, enhance, and recommend implementation of application security automation within CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with Engineering, IT, Infrastructure, and Compliance teams to implement security controls aligned with frameworks like NIST and CIS
Required qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in application security or similar security roles
- Expertise in cloud environments and development experience in a modern programming language (e.g., Python, Go)
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and source control technologies
- Exposure to container and CI/CD security (Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, etc.)
- Security certifications such as Security + or CEH are desirable
