Senior Cyber Security Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance security automation and engineering efficiency, the full-time Senior Cyber Security Engineer will design and implement scalable automation solutions using Python, GitHub, Terraform, and AWS while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate reusable Python services and integrations to automate security controls and operational workflows
• Own and improve GitHub Actions patterns for secure CI/CD, integrating code scanning and dependency controls into engineering workflows
• Develop and maintain Terraform modules and policy-as-code controls for AWS environments, ensuring secure configurations and automation

Required qualifications

• Strong Python software engineering skills, including API integration and production troubleshooting
• Hands-on expertise with GitHub and GitHub Actions, focusing on secure CI/CD practices
• Extensive experience with Terraform, including modules and policy implementation
• Deep understanding of AWS security and cloud architecture, particularly IAM and logging
• Demonstrated ability to lead design discussions and guide cross-team collaboration
