Senior Cyber Security Specialist

Job Summary

Leading cybersecurity and Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities, the full-time Senior Cyber Security Specialist with Top Secret clearance will ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies and maintain the Authorization to Operate (ATO) for an AWS IL5 cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Authorization and Accreditation (A&A) process, creating and updating documentation for ATO maintenance
• Develop and maintain the System Security Plan (SSP) and document security-related configuration management
• Identify vulnerabilities and manage the Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) to address security controls

Required Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
• Must hold an active CISSP or CISM certification
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information assurance
• Proven experience securing systems in cloud environments, preferably AWS
• Deep expertise in NIST SP 800-53 and implementing RMF processes within DoD environments
