Senior Cybersecurity Analyst

Job Summary

Analyzing and evaluating anomalous network and system events, the full-time Senior Cybersecurity Analyst will work remotely in a Security Operation Center (SOC) environment, conducting lead-less threat hunting, collaborating on emerging cyber threats, and developing incident analysis reports.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct lead-less threat hunting and analyze network and system events in a 24x7 SOC environment
• Collaborate with MDR Analysts to investigate cyber security threats and serve as an escalation point for advanced intrusion analysis
• Develop operational processes and procedures to enhance overall SOC efficiency and provide actionable threat analysis

Required qualifications

• Five (5+) years of experience in an information security role, with relevant training or certification potentially substituting for one year of experience
• Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC)
• Two (2+) years of experience with triaging endpoint events and supporting the Incident Response process
• Deep knowledge of threat indicators in a Windows Environment and familiarity with Linux or OSX
• Experience with scripting/programming in Powershell, Python, or Go, and familiarity with AWS and Azure/M365 services
