Senior Cybersecurity Analyst

Job Summary

To enhance cybersecurity measures, the full-time Senior Cybersecurity Analyst will be responsible for continuous monitoring, threat detection, and incident response within the Security Operations Center, operating remotely within Texas.

Key responsibilities

• Lead continuous monitoring and threat detection using SIEM and detection platforms
• Manage incident response to escalated alerts and investigate the root causes of security incidents
• Proactively hunt for hidden threats and integrate threat intelligence to enhance detection capabilities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field; master's preferred
• At least 5 years of experience in information security/cybersecurity across multiple domains
• Hands-on experience in a Security Operations Center performing alert triage and incident response
• Relevant industry certifications such as GCIA, GCIH, GCFA, CySA+, Security+, or CISSP preferred
• Ability to work on-call rotation and/or shift coverage as required by 24x7 SOC operations
