Job Summary
To enhance the security posture of the organization, the full-time Senior Cybersecurity Analyst will protect and monitor LSAC's network and data, educate staff on security best practices, and ensure compliance with industry standards, with remote work arrangements available.
Key responsibilities
- Improve and manage LSAC Security Policies, Procedures, and Best Practices while enhancing the Security Systems Program
- Perform IT Security inspections and audits to ensure compliance with SOC2, PCI/DSS, and other standards
- Consult on and monitor Security systems, conducting vulnerability scans and penetration testing to identify and mitigate threats
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related Security curriculum
- Minimum of 10 years of IT experience, with over 5 years in IT Security or a related field
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, GIAS, or Microsoft MCSE are preferred
- Broad knowledge of Security Program issues, including threat assessments and risk mitigation plans
- Experience with Security tools, network protocols, and best practices, including Tenable Nessus and Microsoft Azure
