Senior Cybersecurity Analyst

Job Summary

Providing expert-level support for security operations, the full-time remote Senior Detection and Response Analyst will maintain 24x7 monitoring services, triage security incidents, and lead the Incident Detection team while ensuring effective threat response and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the point of escalation for security incidents, providing feedback to improve monitoring processes
• Triage security incidents and conduct in-depth analysis using various cybersecurity tools and threat intelligence
• Train and mentor team members, while improving day-to-day operations and contributing to documentation and process standardization

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Security Operations monitoring
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred)
• Experience with cybersecurity tools and software such as Splunk, Sentinel, and firewalls
• Advanced knowledge of network monitoring techniques and common attack vectors
• Technical certifications such as GCIA, GCFA, GCIH, or CASP are a plus
