Senior Cybersecurity Attorney

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the fully remote Senior Cyber Incident Response Attorney will manage incident responses for cybersecurity and data privacy incidents, oversee breach response efforts, and interact with senior management at client companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead incident response for cybersecurity and data privacy incidents, including drafting legal notices and responding to regulatory investigations
• Supervise junior team members and oversee breach response work while advising clients on handling cybersecurity incidents
• Analyze privacy laws and draft privacy and security policies in compliance with relevant statutes

Required Qualifications

• JD from an accredited Law School and admission to the Bar in good standing
• 8+ years of legal experience, with at least 5 years focused on data privacy and security
• Strong knowledge of data breach and privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA, GLBA, CCPA, GDPR)
• IT or technical background is a plus
• Some litigation experience is advantageous
