Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer for a contract to potential hire position.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize Microsoft 365 E5 security tools and enhance Azure Sentinel operations
• Implement identity-centric controls and monitor threats across Microsoft 365 and third-party SaaS platforms
• Conduct risk identification and refine detection, response, and prevention capabilities

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on cloud-first environments
• Deep expertise with Microsoft 365 E5 security features and the Microsoft Defender suite
• Hands-on experience with Azure Sentinel, including KQL and automation
• Experience with email security platforms
• Preferred certifications: MS-500, AZ-500, SC-200, or equivalent
