Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior CyberSecurity Engineer - Edge Security / Bot Mitigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, tune, and maintain WAF and bot management solutions across enterprise web and API platforms
• Analyze threat data and collaborate with Security Operations to respond to malicious bot activity and application-layer attacks
• Act as a subject matter expert on edge security technologies and provide guidance during security incidents

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field, or 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with 3 years managing edge security controls
• Demonstrated expertise in WAF policy design, bot detection, and edge traffic analysis
• Hands-on experience integrating WAF/bot management with CI/CD pipelines
• Deep understanding of web protocols, OWASP threats, and CDN configurations
• Experience working in high-availability, high-traffic environments
