Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer / Architect to support the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead security engineering and architecture activities, implementing NIST 800-53 controls
• Provide technical leadership and consulting on secure system development and infrastructure modernization
• Support incident response analysis and coordinate with IT teams and security stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related field
• 10+ years of cybersecurity engineering or security architecture experience
• Experience with NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) and FISMA compliance
• Knowledge of security architecture practices and incident response
• Experience in network security architecture and firewall management
