Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, design, and implement cybersecurity solutions that comply with security policies and standards
• Analyze network, system, and application architectures to make recommendations for improvements
• Provide incident response support and assist in the review and update of cybersecurity policies and standards

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related discipline preferred
• Five plus (5+) years of experience in information security, particularly in a network security analyst role
• Technical expertise in network security, including VPN, firewalls, and intrusion detection
• Proficiency with at least one scripting language (e.g., Perl, Python, PowerShell)
• Familiarity with database security, vulnerability scanning, and anti-malware practices
