Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance security measures across various platforms, the full-time remote Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will improve technical security posture in AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD environments while collaborating with the CISO and CTO to implement practical security controls and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Improve technical security posture across AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and incident response
• Partner with the CISO and CTO to implement security priorities into technical controls and processes
• Review Engineering work against security standards and request necessary changes

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant security experience, preferably in a startup or cloud-native environment
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS security, including IAM and networking
• Experience securing Kubernetes, containers, and CI/CD pipelines
• Working knowledge of application and product security best practices
• Experience with security monitoring, incident response coordination, and remediation tracking
