Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance the organization's cybersecurity posture, the full-time Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will design, implement, and maintain security infrastructure while collaborating with IT and engineering teams to mitigate risks and ensure compliance in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise security solutions across various environments while leading the development of security architecture
• Lead investigations of security incidents and perform advanced threat hunting to identify vulnerabilities
• Oversee security monitoring platforms and develop incident response procedures to enhance operational efficiency

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 8+ years of relevant experience, or 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles
• Demonstrated experience managing enterprise security technologies and leading complex security initiatives
• Strong knowledge of network security, cloud security, and security architecture principles
• Experience with security monitoring platforms, vulnerability management, and incident response
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, CIS Controls, or ISO 27001
