Job Summary

Leading cybersecurity compliance activities, the full-time Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will support the security engineering and authorization of mission-focused systems for a U.S. Government customer, collaborating closely with security personnel and program leadership to obtain and maintain an Authority to Operate (ATO).

Key responsibilities
  • Lead cybersecurity engineering and Risk Management Framework activities supporting system authorization
  • Develop, review, and maintain security plans, control implementations, and risk assessments
  • Assess system designs against government security requirements and guide the implementation of security controls
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information systems, computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • At least 8 years of relevant cybersecurity or security-engineering experience
  • Demonstrated experience supporting ATO packages and the federal Risk Management Framework
  • Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 controls and vulnerability management
  • Active TOP Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain SCI
