Job Summary
Leading cybersecurity compliance activities, the full-time Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will support the security engineering and authorization of mission-focused systems for a U.S. Government customer, collaborating closely with security personnel and program leadership to obtain and maintain an Authority to Operate (ATO).
Key responsibilities
- Lead cybersecurity engineering and Risk Management Framework activities supporting system authorization
- Develop, review, and maintain security plans, control implementations, and risk assessments
- Assess system designs against government security requirements and guide the implementation of security controls
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information systems, computer science, engineering, or a related field
- At least 8 years of relevant cybersecurity or security-engineering experience
- Demonstrated experience supporting ATO packages and the federal Risk Management Framework
- Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 controls and vulnerability management
- Active TOP Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain SCI
