Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting cybersecurity functions in a remote environment, the full-time Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will manage vulnerability management, incident response, and threat detection for U.S. Federal Government contracts, ensuring consistency across environments and developing best practices.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee cybersecurity functions such as vulnerability management and incident response within the air-gapped network
• Collaborate with Cyber Defense teams and customers to ensure security consistency across environments
• Develop and implement best practices for cybersecurity in a classified cloud environment

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in technical security consultancy, security operations, or threat detection
• 2+ years of hands-on technical leadership experience
• Experience with AWS or Microsoft Top Secret cloud environments
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance, with an active TS/SCI w/CI Poly preferred
