Job Summary
Leading incident response efforts, the full-time Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will manage security events across platforms and applications, including detection, investigation, and recovery, while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Own and drive the incident response lifecycle, including detection, triage, investigation, containment, and eradication of threats
- Conduct thorough investigations by analyzing logs, endpoints, and network data to determine the scope and resolution of incidents
- Proactively hunt for threats and enhance detection capabilities using the MITRE ATT&CK framework and automation
Required qualifications
- 3 to 6 years of experience in security operations or incident response with a strong passion for incident management
- Proficiency in managing incidents through the full incident-handling lifecycle and making sound decisions under pressure
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools, particularly Microsoft Sentinel and KQL, for investigation and detection
- Strong understanding of various log sources and the ability to correlate events across them
- Experience in threat hunting and familiarity with a broad range of attacker tools and techniques (TTPs)
