Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance the Managed Services program, the full-time Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will design, implement, and improve deliverables while monitoring multiple SIEM environments and collaborating with clients on security technologies such as Microsoft Sentinel and Splunk.

Key responsibilities:

• Configure data sources and log forwarders, and create custom content like dashboards and alerts for SIEM tools
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to clients and team members, ensuring effective SIEM and Endpoint security programs
• Act as a senior technical escalation resource, troubleshooting complex issues and identifying opportunities for automation in security processes

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or equivalent experience and industry certifications
• 5+ years of experience in a cybersecurity engineering role
• 3+ years of experience with SIEM tools like Splunk or Microsoft Sentinel
• 2+ years of experience with next-gen antivirus (AV) or endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python
