Senior Cybersecurity Operations Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr Cybersecurity Ops Analyst (REMOTE).

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to potential cybersecurity incidents using security tooling
• Identify gaps in security tooling coverage and research cybersecurity threats
• Coach and mentor junior teammates while enhancing incident response plans

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience
• 5 - 7 years of experience in Security Operations, Windows, Linux, cloud, SIEM, EDR, firewalls, and email gateways
• Extensive knowledge of modern operating systems, networking, and virtualization
• Understanding of native OS logging mechanisms
• Experience with modern security tooling such as next-gen firewalls and SIEMs
