Senior Cybersecurity Operations Analyst

Job Summary

To enhance the organization's cybersecurity posture, the full-time salaried Senior Cybersecurity Operations Analyst will lead incident response activities, conduct proactive threat hunting, and collaborate cross-functionally while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full incident response lifecycle and serve as the Tier 2 escalation point for the SOC
• Conduct proactive threat hunting and analyze threat intelligence to improve detection capabilities
• Manage and optimize security tools, including SIEM and EDR, to ensure effective security coverage

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, focusing on security operations and incident response
• Deep hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, and related security tools
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and security technologies
• Industry certifications such as CEH, OSCP, or CISSP preferred
