Senior Cybersecurity Operator

Job Summary

As a full-time remote Senior Cybersecurity Operator, the successful candidate will serve as a subject matter expert in vulnerability management, overseeing complex tasks, collaborating with business units, and mentoring junior operators to enhance program execution and data quality.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end execution of complex vulnerability management tasks and act as a primary liaison to business units for remediation planning
• Conduct remediation validation and closure, producing audit-defensible evidence packages for regulatory review
• Drive process improvements and standardization initiatives while mentoring associate and intermediate operators

Required qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in a professional cybersecurity environment
• Proficient in applying cybersecurity frameworks, tools, and best practices
• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Ability to leverage AI tools to enhance work processes
• Hands-on experience with credentialed vulnerability scans and producing audit evidence packages
