Senior Cybersecurity Operator

Job Summary

Serving as a subject matter expert in vulnerability management, the full-time Senior Cybersecurity Operator will manage complex remediation processes, act as a liaison to business units, and mentor junior operators while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end execution of the vulnerability management process, including remediation validation and risk-acceptance governance
• Act as the primary liaison to business units, negotiating remediation timelines and creating action plans
• Drive process improvements and standardization initiatives, enhancing data quality and documentation within the program

Required qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in a professional cybersecurity environment
• Proficient in applying cybersecurity frameworks, tools, and best practices
• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience producing audit evidence packages for regulatory review
• Ability to leverage AI tools for enhancing work processes
